Exhibitors at the forefront of innovation
The first international exhibition of the climate in Geneva-Palexpo will bring together industry professionals who will present their technologies and know-how in the fields of energy, building, mobility, circular economy, climate mitigation and other related services. Among them, three major players at the European and Swiss levels: Copernicus, the European Union program for measuring climate change by satellite, the State of Geneva, which will present and demonstrate Geothermie2020, its project to promote geothermal energy on the territory of Geneva, as well as PrimeEnergy Cleantech, a Swiss company financing solar photovoltaic installations, of which Bertrand Piccard is the ambassador.
The question of the concrete realization of practical and accessible actions in the face of the issue of global warming is more relevant than ever and is addressed to everyone. Thus, twenty workshops are on the agenda of the international Climate Show. Among others, the international workshop on the recovery of food waste will highlight key elements related to the technical and legal challenges in the recovery of food waste. The issue of the impact of global warming on the oceans will be addressed in a second workshop with the participation of Geomar, one of the largest marine research centers. The CS Market, the web site associated with the Climate Show for the online sale of sustainable solutions will be launched. While still under construction, this online Shop is visited regularly by thousands of people. As of January 1, 2018, anyone who has a sustainable product or services for sale can register as a vendor on www.climateshowmarket.com.
The Climate Show will be the partner of the TV program "Aujourd'hui" in Geneva. This tour of Swiss Romande for positive and sustainable development initiatives will be present at Climat Show 2018. Participants and visitors of the Climate Show who wish to participate will be able to register for the casting of season “ DEUX”. The Climate Fair in partnership with the Green Film Festival will present as part of the side events, the selection of one or two documentaries on the theme of climate.

The program of the fair will include the inauguration of the Climate Show by State Councilor of the Canton of Geneva, Mr. Luc Barthassat and the participation of high-level speakers such as Mr. Bertrand Piccard, Prof. Stocker, Prof. Beniston, Ms. Barbara Ryan and many others who will be present to support and share their thoughts on the matter of climate and global warming.

Origin of the project
Today there are many technologies and climate protection solutions available on the market, however they are dispersed and inaccessible.
The objective of the Climate Show is to bring together these technologies for 3 days, in order to permit the stakeholders in this sector to meet and exchange views and ideas.

Switzerland, a model of innovation and a country with the most advanced climate protection strategies, is the ideal venue to host this event. The event will take place in Geneva, the home of the international headquarters of organizations, companies and NGOs active in that sector.

The International Climate Show will be held at Palexpo Geneva Switzerland from 6 to 8 April 2018 and will be dedicated to the most innovative industrial technologies and solutions for the protection of the climate and the reduction of the carbon emissions. This unmissable exhibition event meets the increasing demand in this sector and will give visibility to new technologies and products that concern the reduction of the carbon emissions and the mitigation of the effects of climate change.
